About Casa Crayola
Originally from the greater Philly area but having lived in Montreal, Maine and Northern Virginia, Carly moved to San Miguel in 2001 after founding MexArt, a summer teen camp. She purchased the property of Casa Crayola in 2003 and renovated the house and built the casitas. She continues to run the summer teen camp and manages the rentals of the casitas at Casa Crayola with the help of her assistant.
Carly loves meeting the guests who come to explore San Miguel from all over the world. She enjoys seeing San Miguel anew through the fresh eyes of visitors.
Sofie, born in November 2009, enjoys meeting the guests too! She’ll be put to work greeting guests as soon as she can walk!.
Enrique, a classical pianist, fills the property with music while he practices and rehearses in the afternoons. He hosts dinner concerts at Casa Crayola once or twice each month. Carly, an oboist, met Enrique playing in a small ensemble.
